I am a teacher of a 4th grade classroom in eastern North Carolina and looking for another class of 4th graders reading Battle of the Books reading selections. We would be interested in skyping about these books and using a seminar approach to these discussions. Hello. My name is Suzanne Dupas and I'm a grade 6 teacher (11-12yrs) in Calgary, Canada. I'm interested in a partnership. I teach in a 21st learning environment. My students all have Mac laptops and we have access to Skype, emails, Twitter, blogs, wikis and video conferencing. Please provide some details of your project or ideas of exchange.

Our school is specialized in teaching foreign languages. English studies are of primary importance for the pupils of our school. They are eager to make friends with English pupils of their age, to learn more about British customs and traditions. The pupils of our school may develop their communicative skills in English socializing with the pupils of your school when meeting or on-line. The pupils of your schools may wish to work on a group project connected with ecology, history, cultural traditions together with Russian pupils. This can be beneficial. We are ready to meet guests from your school, to make contacts and to start the cooperation between our schools.
