I actually have found a couple of other classrooms to Skype already but I am in the process of teaching my co-workers how to use Skype in their classrooms! Let me do some checking. I know I can find another classroom that would want to do it with you! I'll get back to you soon!

It is a good idea to Skype with your pupils (from the USA). Now we are having summer holidays. On the 1st of September we’ll come back to school.Then we’ ll be able to skype and learn about our countries from each other.

I am interested in skyping with you! I read where you said you were testing next week. We are actually done with school on May 23 at 12:30. We have end of year activities planned for everyday this week and next along with some field trips. I will try to see if we have some "down" time and maybe this can happen. If not this year, maybe we could get in touch again next school year. Next year I will be teaching 6th grade reading, 5th and 6th grade Science.

I teach grade 6 in Calgary, Canada. I would be interested in joining your partnership next year. In Sciences we study Astronomy, Crime and Evidence, Aerodynamics and Flight, and Forest and Trees. Our approach is project based learning and all my students have laptops or iPads. I also teach language arts and we study 3 novels: The Giver, The Other Place and Vote for Amelia.
