You can use Skype (Win, Mac, Linux) for free computer (Skype) to computer (Skype) video/voice calling and audio conferencing. You can have up to 25 participants (the caller plus 24 others) in an audio conference. Video conference is still 1:1 but there are work arounds to this issue using Skype.
It's easy to make a Skype conference call and learn how to manage your Skype conference. Click on Skype Support/Help for further information. See How-To videos.
CallGraph
You can now record Skype calls using CallGraph, a free Skype plugin.
InnerPass
InnerPass develops Internet collaboration software for small-to-medium size businesses (SMB) and for social networking platforms. Recently InnerPass released a collaboration widget on Skype to take advantage of Skype’s powerful call and conferencing services combined with InnerPass’s collaboration and meeting rooms. With these products integrated you can call and chat the same time, update and share files, send messages to each other, and even perform a live web demo or presentation for everyone to see. Businesses and/or schools will benefit from this service because it reduces travel and related costs associated with bringing people together for meetings. This is also a great value to you personally because your friends and family can stay connected, share pictures, upload files, and talk with each other using Skype. InnerPass is one of Skype’s newest applications; It has grown to nearly 200,000 users in less than 6 months.

Unyte Application Sharing
Once Skype Unyte is installed, you can start a Unyte screen and application sharing session from within your Skype chat or from the System Tray menu. You may choose to share specific software applications or your entire desktop. The viewers you invite click a link (Web URL) to join your sharing session and view your shared applications in their browser. You may invite up to four participants to join your session. As a host, you can enable remote control so that viewer can use the application as if they were open on their own desktop. I am interested in finding a program that will allow me to capture the Skype videoconference for future use. If possible, I would like to capture both sides of the conference (not just the audio portion).
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
David Frankel

David, at various times I've used screen capture software such as Camstudio http://www.camstudio.org/ , Jing http://www.jingproject.com/ and Screentoaster http://www.screeentoaster.com/. These are work arounds and obviously lack a what a built-in capture feature would have.
